CAP Worldwide Serviced Apartments (CAP) was honoured to receive the first ever ‘GE Vernova Supplier Diversity Collaboration Award’ celebrated at the GE Vernova HQ in Cambridge, Massachusetts in December 2024.

Jo Layton, CAP CEO, and Andrew Hopgood, CAP COO, were personally invited to the GE Vernova HQ in Massachusetts in December, to attend a recognition event to accept this prestigious award, where they had the opportunity to meet with the GE Vernova diversity and global procurement teams, including Reginald Miller, VP & Chief DEI Officer, and Raj Thakker, VP & Chief Procurement Officer.
This collaboration award comes after being awarded the EcoVadis Gold Medal in August 2024. CAP currently sits in the top 1% in the travel industry for sustainability and is the only extended stay agent to achieve this level of award with EcoVadis in this space to date.
Layton says “We are incredibly proud and humbled to receive the GEV award, especially as there were so many high performing, competitive GEV suppliers eligible. This award is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our incredible CAPCrew in ensuring we prioritise accessibility, sustainability and inclusion in all our sourcing and procurement practices and with all operators we work with - all who work with us are assured the same equal opportunity to become a brand partner and receive extended stay demand from our valued clients’.
