The Business Travel People Awards, which this year had their highest ever number of entries, will be presented at a glittering evening ceremony at the Grand Connaught Rooms, London, on Tuesday September 17.
There are 19 categories, representing a range of individual and team roles across all sectors to celebrate those whose professionalism and business excellence make them stand out from their peers.
CAP CEO Jo Layton has been nominated for the "Mentor of the Year" award. Jo says 'To say that I am humbled to be nominated for this incredible award is truly an understatement. It's been a crazy 5 years since we started - and we simply don't have the bandwidth (or marketing team...) to write award winning submissions, so this incredible opportunity and wonderful recognition of being nominated externally is so gratefully received by me and the whole of the CAPCrew - and we are finalists!!!'
She continues 'A massive 'Thank You' must be given to Kirsty Hicks and the team at The Business Travel People Awards for the chance to be considered for this award tomorrow night.
My personal mantra is and always has been to help everyone in my network, our company and my family to be the best version of themselves that 'they' want to be - coaching and encouraging is a huge part of leadership - and how lucky am I to have the opportunity to live this mantra every day'.
At CAP, We have absolutely no expectations of a win - the nominees are all so brilliant and worthy - but we do have the expectation of a great evening celebrating the passion and drive that comes from the amazing individuals and teams in our fabulous travel industry - Good luck to all finalists!'
